Hot Spot Auto Parts

I bought a break pads and Discs for my Mercedes Benz ,from Pickering location , and on these social Distancing days , the part they have given both were not actual like genuine one , My car was on garage and when I called to find out if they have the right parts they just said after market stuff are coming wit some different fitting option ( pad s didn't have hole for sensors , and discs are without screw hole which can hold discs to the Hub , it was a mistake , and really cold shoulder from store , I asked the mechanic just fix my car , and he used some of my old parts it was a waste of time and money !

Got brake parts from the Oshawa store and ya they were a good price BUT my car apparently has 2 different sizes of discs and pads. I was assured I can buy both sizes and return the ones I don't need so I agreed. What a mistake! Took them back 4 business days later and I was told buy the same guy 30% restock. It was the same kid that sold them to me too. Apparently I only had until the end of the day to be able to return them Big time thief. Very dicey store policy.

I ordered a few parts over the phone, the person assured me that the parts would get to their store location in 1 hour, i call back ten minutes later to cancel one of the items in a bulk order. He tell me that now i have to come there, pay for the items, THENNN he would place the order so that i could wait 1 hour. These guys are straight liars, just trying to waste peoples time.

At Kingston Hot Spot, I Purchased special order struts with mounts for Mitsubishi Lancer. Parts were not right, they refused to accept the mistake. When asked to return, they wanted to charge 30% RESTOCKING FEE, at most places, it runs between 10-15%.
I called another Hot Spot store, they said we charge 20%, still excessive. I am regular customer.

been going there for the Last 10 Years, every time I think to myself , I should shop around first, and every time I get disappointed with other Parts Store, Truly, Hotspot the best Selection at a best price ,and what service, the guy in Scarborough was eating his Pizza while Servicing me, he even offered me a slice!!!

Called for struts and and found a better price at Canada Auto Parts and service guy and manager would not beat price by 5%. Manager said he did not believe this was an actual web site! he said order from them and swing by to Scarboro store and show him the receipt and he would give me the 5% difference...what a bunch of crooks!!! so I ordered from Canada Auto Parts. Never go to HotSpot Auto Parts!

**DON'T BE FOOLED**THE PETERBOROUGH STAFF ARE NICE AND HELPFUL OVER THE PHONE..ONCE YOU GET INTO THE STORE THEY ARE IGNORANT THEY LIE AND ARE VERY RUDE...GO TO KINGS OR CANADIAN TIRE ..SAME PRICES AND WILL MATCH AND BEAT THEIR PRICES

I used to shop around for my parts before i was introduced to hotspot pickering,at first i used to compare prices between hotspot and other parts stores but now i only go to hotspot, NO one comes close to them,They have Economy and premium parts, you get what you pay for.. sometimes i buy economy sometimes premium,they have it all..Great Service as well

I have had problems here before not worth mentioning but I figured I would try them again... big mistake! Ordered a air conditioner condenser, they said 3 buisness days and they would call when it arrives..... went back after 4 days because I dident get a call and they said 2 more days it will be there. Got the part after 2 days to get home and find out WRONG PART. Go back there for them to order the correct part and I am told 3 days again. Well, 3 days turned into 7 in the end and I dident even get a replacement part, I was told I have to wait until "more come from over seas" about 30-45 days. I cant wait that long so I am told I have to pay a 25% re stock charge for not wanting the part? It was wrong to begin with, why would I pay a re stock I explain to the counter guy and he says "it is what it is, re stock is a rule here". So at this point im angry and told them how do you expect me to buy from here in the future if you are treating me this way right now? Before im finished the sentence a bald guy in the corner says "thats fine, go buy elsewhere if you dont like the policy" So that is what I do now, I go to parts man... it is a fraction more expensive but they are helpfull and understanding from start to finish.

I go here all the time because they are cheap and close but never again! 4 out of the past 5 times they have given me the wrong part. Like everyone else is saying I too had to pay a restock charge and deal with there ignorant attitude. I think they make more money on "re stock charges" then selling actual parts! CROOKS! DO NOT GO HERE! PARTSMAN ALL THE WAY!

I have been dealing with hotspot oshawa and pickering for 3 years now,Great Guys, Very good pricing,Great Service..They got me part for my Audi that partsource manager told me its only dealer item..Highly Recomended

been dealing with hot spot for 8 years since i retired most times they are great the exception is when they have a student training brian at scarboro is very good and knowes his parts their prices for the most part are lower than other jobbers

I believe that the parts are priced reasonable. I enjoy the service and i recommend everyone to buy their parts here. The staff are very friendly and are very efficiant!!

The Scarborough location was able to find a part that most places couldn't find (including dealers). The only problem was that I ordered it Saturday morning and they told me it would be available at noon, it took longer and I had to pick it up on Monday but overall the service was great and I am happy with the part.

Dealt with Andy here who was very courteous and friendly. Highly recommend.
