First purchase experience, so so.
We made our first purchase with Teppermans today at the Kitchener location. Our first experience was so so. We purchased some furniture and an appliance. We had to deal with 2 different sales representatives. The furniture sales rep was Bernie. This was excellent! thought things were going very well and thought we would get a new dishwasher as well with the excellent Black Friday sales that were on. Bernie then took us over to appliances where we we introduced to Dan. this is where the so so part started. We found what we were looking for and proceeds to pay, Bernie made errors on the paperwork and it took us an hour, yes an hour to get this cleared up at customer service. We have to wait approx 7 weeks for our furniture, yes, another so so part. This dishwasher was apparently in stock so we could take it home today. When we get to customer pickup, yet another error on the paperwork from Dan and we had to wait again. took about another 20 minutes standing at that counter waiting for this to get sorted out. Finally, we got our dishwasher. While waiting at customer service to sort out the invoice, they paged Dan to customer service and he never showed up. The staff at customer service were able to sort it out and finally re entered the sale. It wasn't a super smooth first experience but we did like the store and the selection. Lets see how long it take to actually get the furniture.
