My consultation appointment was delayed by 35 minutes and then I was 'forgotten' in the treatment room for 20 minutes before the doctor or nurse came in...
My second appointment was booked after my ultrasound results came in and I arrived on time only to wait another 30 minutes, which at that time I had to leave because I booked it during my lunch hour. The receptionist could only tell me that they were very busy as this is the busy season (Spring. So if it's so busy then why overbook your appointments? Needless to say I was not the only one that day to walk out...a man was 'forgotten' in the treatment room this day too and he had to return to work!
My last and final appointment was quick and to the point but I felt like everyone was trying to make up for bad service...the best though is that the receptionists didn't have a clue - telling a new patient at the desk to just have a seat and the doctor would call her...should have been me but I had already sat down??? Upon exiting, the doctor gave me a copy of my results for referal and again the receptionist not knowing what was happening told me to call in and we could book my appointment, which both the doctor and I turned to her and said that isn't necessary because I am a referal...it's a good thing i don't have to return!!
