Dolan’s Smo-King (I’m not totally sure that’s its name- its sign has ‘Smo’ and ‘king’ separated by a pipe), is definitely one of downtown Kingston’s quirkiest shops. As its name suggests, Smo-king sells all sorts of smoking paraphernalia- both tobacco related and otherwise. Prices range from cheap to expensive ($200 pipes, for instance), and the selection of cigars is ample. If you like to slice and dice things (people?) while you smoke, you can also choose from a variety of knives and swords. Unfortunately, there are currently only Samurai swords. There’sa medieval dagger as well. This is probably the only place in Kingston where one can pick up a cigar, a sword, a Penthouse and a can of pears to boot.
