The real truth
I was going through a hair breakdown in the winter and I desperately needed to get my hair done. I went to In Ting because the previous reviewers wrote so highly of it. Since I am going natural, detangling my hair can be a headache. However, the lady that washed my hair did a really good job at detangling and she was extra careful. I felt like she got a lot of my knots out and she had a great attitude. The hairdresser or the owner, tried to rush the lady helping me and took over from the lady. I felt like the hair dresser was not gentle and the portion she did come experienced major hair loss. The owner has the basic hair supplies and products. The only product the owner really used when she was styling my hair that stood out to me was argon oil ( or something similar). I also found that the owner has a tendency to get defensive and she doesn't respect your opinions when they don't correlate with hers. She continuous mentioned I needed my hair trim and after explaining to her that I didn't want it trimmed but she continued to encourage me. I eventually caved in and allowed her to trim my hair. Unfortunately, I felt that the trim was more of a cut and I wasn't happy with the results. The owner doesn't take responsibility and she just argues with you. Overall, I paid $50 (I think) for a treatment. I would not return back to the salon unless I was extremely desperate.

I hope your doing fine, and I just wanted to clarify a few things:
-In IN TING BEAUTY we work as a team, you might have felt like she took you away from me, but she actually does most of the finishing of hairstyles, and especially for natural hair.
-Argan oil, is really good for hair, and more for natural hair ( there is a lot of brand out there such as Moroccan oil, babyliss pro, one and only...) it is most organic ( less chemical mixt) and it is not greasy. We use most of the time the whole line on the hair from leavin' conditioner to the hair spray ( splash).We use also kariliss pomade for the flat ironing or curling.
-For the trim, well i don't quite remember the incident, but we have reluctant clients that only trim when they experience hair loss, but then they acknowledge the difference for their hair, because is better for the hairdresser to trim ( amount aloud by costumer) than mother nature ( who know where she will stop?). After the trim, did your hair fell better?
-For the price we charge 45+ taxes =50.85 for a deep treatment, and you would see that on the website,( http://www.intingbeautyworld.com/services.php ) the trim is not included in the price ( we usually charge 5 to 10 more), but as you can see, when We suggest the trim for the first time costumers we don't charge because we want you to get the best result from you hair, and we do charge when you ask for it.
I could see that you didn't mention about the finishing product, did you like it? I hope at least next time you come to visit it won't be because you don't have a choice, but because You do want to!
