Important to find a doggie daycare...
The facilities are fairly new and spacious. My very first experience using this daycare was seriously NOT good. Word of advice to those who are thinking of using them as a daycare service -- the staff are more concerned with leaving on time then about you or your dog!
I live in Rmd but work downtown Vancouver. I fought through traffic (really bad day for traffic) and bad drivers, drove like mad to make it there by 6 pm only to arrive no more than 2 min after, 6:02 PM. As I drove in, I saw 2 young ladies walking to their cars. One of them told me repeatedly and rather abruptly that they were closed. I tried to explain about the traffic but she would not hear of it and proceeded to tell me with attitude that they close EXACTLY at 6 pm. She admitted that she had keys but she just stood there and will NOT let me get my dog. She said she would get fired if she went back in after they have closed. She said I had to speak with the owner. So, I asked to speak with the owner but she would not give me a number saying that they do not give out personal info.
Long and short of it all, I finally left with my dog after the "Attitude Lady" finally got on the phone and called the owner. So much time wasted, aggravation and attitude PLUS for what purpose ??!!!
If this is in fact Rondivills' policy to leave exactly at 6:00 pm then they should tell the dog owners UPFRONT. If it is indeed Rondivills' policy that staff are not allowed to reopen the doors after they are closed, think they should rethink that through...
Fellow Dog Owners, with such "attitude" from Rondivills staff (who needs it after a long day??) what kind of attention do you think your dog will get during the day??? To top it all off, their daycare hours of operations (8 am - 6 pm) really do NOT cater to dog owners of the working class either!
Suggest you look around for a daycare that "cares" about you and your dog. Good luck!
