Get ready for the worst hair...
Very poorly organized staff. I called and asked if they had someone who specializes in blond hair. They told me yes. However when I got there after a while of the highlights being put in, I realized from talking to my stylist, that she was fairly new. She put the wrong toner in my hair, it turned a light brown on the bottom, (I had white blond hair) and orange blond on the root. She suggested putting a cocktail on it, but not being an expert with hair I trusted her, but found out later, that it is the worst thing you can do with your hair. All it ended up doing was brightening the orange at my root, to a more florescent orange, and the rest was a yellowish colour. I was horrified. Even worse when she asked someone for help all they did was make her feel stupid and embarrassed in front of me, which they shouldn't have done. You wouldn't make a surgeon insecure before the surgery. They didn't work as a team there, and there was no procedure set up for when something goes wrong, no veteran hair dresser stepped in, instead she just tried another toner that burnt my scalp to crisp and scabbed it everywhere, it was so painful I was crying. By the end of this I just told her to stop and that I was going to go to my normal salon that I should have just gone to in the first place. The people there were terrible at customer service, everyone just avoided me as they were to afraid to come up to me, and didn't try to make it better. At one point one of the owner's or managers came up and offered me a glass of water, to which I laughed at as I was not dehydrated, I was humiliated and horrified at my new appearance and completely fried hair. She said don't worry we won't charge you and I laughed and told her I wasn't going to pay anyways. Nobody apologized nobody tried to make it better they just pretty much ignored me and wanted me to leave and didn't want to try and make it better. They did not make me feel cared about in any way, it was awful. They are a garbage salon. While I am sure some have had a great experience. I really don't recommend this salon. Everyone was standing in a circle at one point whispering about things they could try to do to fix my hair, but each time made it worse, it was like I was a frigging lab experiment to them. NOBODY there knew what to do, that's insane. Regardless I left with my hair wet, went to my normal salon Niccio, where they took me in even though they were fully booked and fixed my hair, they didn't even charge me for the blow dry and style because the owner told me he felt that I had had such an awful day and he told me he wanted me to leave happy. It was crazy they treated me the way The Loft should have and they weren't the ones that destroyed my hair. Niccio has the best customer service I have ever seen. I write this to warn anyone so they don't make the same mistake I did. It took me forever to get the perfect tone to my hair and it will never be the same again though. I did get my hair fixed, but the damage the loft did to it is done and that part is not repairable, my hair is fried. If you can't get an appointment at your normal hair salon, b/c they are booked, just wait, b/c if you chance it by going to another place your hair may get ruined like me and you'll waste your money. Please don't go to this salon, even if they can manage to do some people's hair ok, they have no procedure to follow when something goes wrong, they will basically not help you and probably make it worse, while at the same time make you feel uncomfortable and you will leave awkwardly. It was honestly the worst hair experience I have had in my life. Don't make the same mistake I did, please do not go to this salon, no matter how desperate you are.
