Incredibly friendly service, without being cloying or smarmy. Great coffee. I didn't try any of the menu items because unfortunately, I'd already eaten a mediocre bagel from the Bagel Stop in Union Stn before visiting this fine establishment, so I only gave it four stars. I sat on the outdoor patio and people watched. It was a great way to spend a beautiful Saturday morning. I am going to do that again, and try some of their food items. I'll be back!

My third visit to this restaurant. They have great food. Not to be missed - sweet potato fries and their Roque n' Beef salad. Amazingly decadent desserts and coffee. Near the university. Love this restaurant. I took a friend who recently moved to Hamilton from Toronto and she was very relieved that there are decent non-chain restaurants.

Terrible area, really industrial. Staff are really rude.

I love this tiny little shop. They have the best books, and I like the old school ladders to reach the books on the top shelf. They need a store cat though, to complete the picture.
