Trunk Spring Recall and Long Waits
We came in on a Friday around 10AM, to get an oil change and to book an appointment for the trunk spring. It was a LONG wait as soon as we dropped off our keys for both appointments.
During First Appointment, and right after booking for the second:
I asked the receptionist if we needed the appointment card after we misplaced it, she was not nice at all. I just needed to ask if we needed the appointment card for the appointment on Monday. BUT she kept asking if I was the Owner of the vehicle. Since both my parents' English are poor, I tried to explain that it’s not my car and my parents are sitting right there. Anyways, after that we were getting a little impatient since we thought the express oil change was supposed to be pretty quick. We thought that car was done, as we could see that the mechanic drove it out from the garage. So was asked the reception at the express table if the car was done. But they said it wasn't so we waited for another 20mins. It...

But they said it wasn't so we waited for another 20mins. It turned out that our key was there, and he didn't really notice it. Thus, we didn't really need to wait for the extra time, we were there for almost 2.5 hrs. Ridiculous.
On the Monday Appointment:
The appointment was set at 8AM, and the associate manager said this should be quick as it was a trunk spring recall and was no charge. So my father and I thought it would probably take one hour. So he was looking through the glass where the technicians had been working at our car, and they were done around 9. A bit later we asked the customer service counter if our car was done or if anyone called our names out. She said ask the associate manger. So we waited again to speak to him, but he was constantly on the phone and when I finally noticed that he was off his phone, he told me to talk to the advisor. So we waited for the advisor, but he had a customer and he was walking in and out of centre which meant that he was going to take a LONG time…. At that point, my father was really irritated so I asked why associate manager why we had to wait for him since he was free…..we just needed to pick up our keys and go since we waited for so long…the experience was TOTALLY UNNESCESSARY as there was no change to the spring and the WAIT was so LONG and almost unbearable as you knew your car is done and you have to wait for no reason.
