I shop Safeway Cochrane AB quite a lot. Today I was there at around 10;30 am and used the fast checkout. I asked for help as one item didn't seem to want to scan. the elderly clerk looked disgusted or sad, no smile or word spoken nonetheless. I said cheer up things are ok, no response and same long face. It's sad because it's usually a relatively good experience at this store.
