A JOB WELL DONE
I accidentally scratched my car in the parking lot, leaving several large scratches on the right side bumper as well as the tail light. I wasn't familiar with any auto body shops in Toronto, so I visited a couple of places in GTA to get estimates.
I called Universal Auto Body Repair on Wednesday afternoon and asked if I could stop by for a quick estimate. Chris was able to wait for me to arrive - though it was already past business hours. He was very approachable and he patiently showed me how the estimated costs are broken down to come up to the final estimate.
His price was fair - compared to the estimates I have inquired from other auto body shops. Given that I needed the car for work next week - latest by the following Monday, he told me that he'll do his best to complete the job by Friday. Instantly, I decided to leave my car in his hands. He was kind enough to give me a ride home since my place was about over an hour away by bus.
Friday came and I received a text from him asking if it's okay to delay till Monday. I was okay with it and I went to pick up my car today. The car looked fantastic. What amazed me the most was that Chris actually went the extra miles to redo the entire bumper at no additional cost - even though I only requested for paint touch-ups on the scratches. The car was washed and cleaned by the staff (both outside and inside) and it felt great driving my car back home. I am glad I chose Universal Auto Body Repair and I would recommend this place to my family, friends, and anyone who is looking for an auto body repair shop in GTA for both quality work and reasonable price.
