Our move from Ottawa to Montreal resulted in a number of broken fragile items: expensive wine glasses, picture frames,mirrors, hand painted pottery from Turkey and my late grand-mother's antique royal winston tea set. The salesperson on the phone reassured us that fragile items would be carefully moved. But when speaking with Jim from the claims department, he said that it is up to the drivers discretion to treat fragile items any differently. They were therefore stacked at the bottom of heavy items. The crew explained that they are provided no training on how to move, and are essentially trying to get through back breaking work as fast as possible. I wish I had not selected Cassidy's and I will not proivde them with my business in the future.
