Don't ever work for this company.
This review is for the company that is located at 1490 Denison Street in Markham, Ontario (L3R 9T7). There are two sections to this pathetic excuse for a company. One section is your run of the mill third party debt collector that purchases old debts from credit card companies etc. and then tries to hound people to pay using dumb as hell childish tactics. It's probably because the people employed by this company are basically children - or adults with the minds of children. They are often uneducated college drop-outs who were often bullied as children and haven't worked out their issues in a constructive way yet. These people work out of the sections called the GOLD ROOM. (snicker)
The second part of this Fortune 500 company is known as the GREEN ROOM. Individuals here are first party debt collectors who are sub-contracted by companies who find it more cost effective to outsource this kind of "work" to places like Global. This includes Rogers and Bell. So, basically, when your Rogers Bill is overdue, you'll more than likely get a reminder call from someone at Global. Employees at Global are mostly students, new immigrants who haven't got better opportunities yet, and morons who make it up into supervisory positions like Shaun the idiot mentioned in the title.
Employees are paid MINIMUM wage. What do you expect when you get a call from someone making minimum wage? Workers at McDonald's have better opportunities than employees here, who are often mistreated, made to work hours well beyond what is legal in a week. For example, when an employee here requests time off, they are told "sure just make up the hours you missed, by adding it to the hours you regularly work when you come back" This is what idiots like Shaun Sukharan (an uneducated, slave driver moron of a "manager") get paid to do. Hound and harass employees to work ridiculous hours for minimum wage with no other benefits so that Global can bill Rogers monthly stating that "we worked 20,000 man hours for you making sure you don't lose money". This company breaks probably half of Ontario's labour laws on a daily basis.
It's a sad excuse for a company, that is probably run by a bunch of greedy pigs who like to pay for their yachts in the Florida Keys on the broken backs of fresh out of high school kids. This is FIRST WORLD SLAVERY at its finest. This company should be run out of Canada and idiot managers like Shaun got get sent to Therapy before they become more of a danger to society.
