Disappointed is the best word I can think of to describe my experience here. After being examed by one of their top surgeons (that is what he said) I was left in shock. Without looking at any test results I brought along, CT Scans,X-rays, doctors notes, he made a diagnosis based strictly on his assumption of something that may have happened. To ascertain that, even though there was a bulge the size of a small cantelope, that no hernia existed and that nothing could be done was ludicrous. Then to say that Shouldice is not a cherry picker is absolutely 100% incorrect. Of course they are and after chatting with other folks I have run into now since that time, they were all left feeling the same way. Never would I or would they go back, a total waste of time. Oh, and it was a hernia, that was repaired with good results at another hospital that does not pick cherries.
