we called a few garage door companies because our spring was broken on our garage door. Promaster's price semed the most reasonable on the phone.The repairman arrived and he put a lot of pressure on my wife. He insisted that not only the spring was broken, but several other parts also needed to be replaced. The price ened up way over what they told me on the phone (over $400). I had paid under $600 when I bought the door a few years ago !! I did some reasearch on Promaster and sure enough, this is how they do business. Many people were taken the same way we were.
