WHERE DOES ACCOUNTABILITY COME IN WHEN THE BROKER FAXES PAPERWORK TO A WRONG FAX NUMBER-ON A WEEKEND!!!!!NO AFTER HOURS NUMBER TO GET ON THEIR WEB PAGE-THEY DON'T EVEN OFFER AFTER HOURS SERVICE OR WEEKEND SERVICE!!!!!NOW MY HUSBAND CANNOT SEE HIS CHILDREN!!!! BUT THEY ARE NOT WORRIED ABOUT THAT NOW ARE THEY...TRUCK DRIVERS DON'T WORK MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9-5 THANK YOU.

well, you sound very upset...I'm not sure how faxing paperwork to customs brokerage and not seeing you children are connected but it seems to be quite upsetting..
Simple. The broker screwed up and didn't verify the release was setup at the border. Therefore the driver has to sit, and can't go into Canada. (If they are bonded then yes). The point is that the broker could have verified the entry was setup, rather then just trusting it got faxed properly. Only takes a minute.
