CAPLAN'S DISAPPOINTMENT

On the recommendation of a friend (now no more ) I drove all the way from Richmond Hill to the store. I entered around 3.15 pm yesterday. I was greeted by an Asian salesman. I told him that I was looking for 7 appliances and I've already done my research and was interested in checking out your prices. The moment I mentioned GE Profile , he goes off saying that 's not high end and they can give prices but he'd rather I look at GE Monogram. I reminded him that Monogram was for professionals and I wasn't interested in pro stuff. He then suggested Kitchen Aid and I asked for LG. That sent him into a tirade about cheap Korean products.I asked him about Miele. He actually said, " It is the best if you can afford it".I was in shock and felt sorry for this guy and his organisation. I then thought I'll open my mind and check out Kitchen Aid but only after he gave me the prices I was looking for. This took a few minutes and I concluded that they were competitive...
