Never Paid!!!!
I signed-up and paid the 'admin' fee of $180 to this company and worked a day of 7-11 distribution flyers back in November 2013. Today, Jan 2014, I have still not been paid and have contacted them numerous times in numerous different ways. They keep telling me that I will get paid when 7-11 pays them which I do NOT believe anymore. They now take a message when I call and never call back and never respond to my emails or messages to them via their internal messaging system Actors Den.
DO NOT fall for this company!!!
They also change their name every couple of months it seems to cover up their footsteps. They are currently calling themselves 5-Star Talent Agency, as well as Clearly Creative Talent.

It happened to me too....just a few days ago I went in for an "interview" to what i thought was for a liquor demo and part time customer service work (actual job)....they asked me to fill up this application asking about my MOdelling and Extra for movies...bla bla.. I asked the receptionist what the form was for and she confused the hell out of me...her name was Violet, and she didnt seem like she knew anything about the business.
Anyway, It was a waste of my day, this Carly girl tried to sell me this membership to the agency $180 per year and if i got a job they would take 20% off my cheque...plus i had to sign up to a website $4/mo to check the jobs...
I saw that a lady before me wasnt happy either because it was FALSE ADVERTISEMENT to a job that you had no idea that it was a SCAM to get you in to sign up.
DONT BE FOOLED PEOPLE.
Ale

Just got out of an 'interview' at this place. When I inquired about how misleading their ad was (they were advertising liquor demo work, etc) the interviewer got mad, crumpled up my paper and told me to leave. This is obviously a scam.
Consider yourself lucky. They took my money, have not sent me out on jobs yet are still advertising for people.
Hello,
What was the outcome?
Thanks!
That's it! It sounds a rip-off! I went there yesterday and while I was filling out the form, the receptionist gave me a thick book with lots of supposedly works they had done including rates they pay, just to impress me... There was no interview at all, the lady just asked me the reason I was there, maybe she thought I was a lawyer or police officer. When she realized I was not a threaten, then she started showing me they were dealing with a movie with Leonardo Di Caprio and they needed extras. However, to participate we need first to sign up and pay $160 plus UPS (which I didn't understand). She also offered me a service for $4.00 a month to have access to job postings specifically in the acting field. There was no interviewing questions, nothing about my previous experience, my goals, etc. It sounded she didn't want to waste her time. I didn't pay anything as I realized the smell of rip-off. Their modus-operandi is so classic! There are lots of them in my home country but here, in Canada, I didn't expect that... My question is: is there anything people can do to report this to authorities? What did you guys do to claim your money back?
