Defective Mattress

tl;dr: bought two exact same mattresses from different Bad Boy stores, one turned out defective and after numerous back and forth communication between this store and emails to head office we got nothing out of it. Had to spend another grand at The Brick to get a proper mattress because this brand new one we got from Bad Boy was defective and they wouldn't do anything about it.
My family and I recently bought two Samantha Euro Top Double Mattresses from Lastman's Bad Boy. One was purchased at the beginning of November 2016 at the Brampton location. My parents were very happy with the mattress, so we decided to buy another for myself. We purchased the exact same mattress but at the Mississauga location (1970 Dundas St. E) near the end of November.
The second mattress which had only been a month old at the time of this occurrence had a huge sinking hole right around the middle area and is only slept on by ONE person (me). This doesn't make any sense because the other Samantha mattress that we bought was TWO months old AND is slept on by TWO people yet it doesn't pose the same problem. Moreover, the two people are full grown adults, whereas the one person sleeping in the sunken mattress is a small twenty-year old girl. Even simply looking at the mattress, you can clearly see that it is un-level. This is appalling and I can't understand why this would happen to one mattress and not the other when they are both exactly the same.
We went back to the original store to inform them of the situation and they told us to email or call the company regarding the issue. So we did. The company set up an appointment with a technician to check out the mattress. They measured it as a 1" hole, and we were told that there's nothing they can do about it because it needs to be a minimum of 1.5" deep. All we wanted to know was why this was happening to the ONE mattress and not the other, we were suspecting this may have been a defective mattress. So we again went back to the store to see if they could somehow check if perhaps it was a defect, however the associates were very rude and unwilling to help claiming they have nothing to do with it and it's not their problem. So again we went back to communicating with the company through email and they set up yet ANOTHER appointment with a technician to check out the mattress. This time they measured the hole as 1.5" deep, the technician told us they would report it back to the company and they would get back to us. Keep in mind that last time their excuse was the 1" deep measurement was not enough to be considered an issue, and that 1.5" is the standard - which is clearly what we got! On top of that, it had only been a week or two between the two appointments with the technician so does that mean the mattress will continue to sink if they don't do anything about it?! We haven't heard back from them and honestly this back and forth between going to the store and exchanging emails has gotten us no where. I have already been experiencing back problems since then so we had no choice but to spend over $1000 at The Brick to purchase a NEW proper mattress to replace the one that was barely one month old. After this horrible experience we will never be shopping at Lastman's Bad Boy again and nor will we be recommending this company to anyone, which is unfortunate because the other mattress (exact same model) is fine and we're happy with it. It would have been nice to perhaps exchange the mattress for one that wasn't defective, or AT LEAST get an explanation or apology - but there was none of that. Lesson learned the hard way...
