I had a procedure done on both eyes in early 2010. I felt I was inadequately informed on what to expect in respect to recovery time. I found Dr Stein cold and distant, and overall the staff rude and abrupt. In the appointments that I had with Dr Stein, he seemed disinterested and rushed, speaking to his assistant as though I wasn't there, and spending no time discussing anything with me AT ALL!. He never said any more than 10 words to me in total. A different persona than is portrayed on the t.v. show he is on , that is on in the waiting room. They never once sat down and talked/explained much to me for the surgery. During the procedures, not one person spoke to me, not even Dr Stein. I was so so nervous. In retrospect I felt as though once I'd paid my money, (several thousand dollars) they all became disinterested. I am a professional and I was stunned at how lacking this place is in educating their customers. I was told I would, "if anything would require reading glasses"~ twelve months later and I am wearing bifocals. They have only ever said it takes time ~ but they sure didn't tell me it could take THIS long BEFORE I signed on. I would not recommend. The whole thing left me with a bad taste, and a very expensive pair of glasses and an entire year of "recovery" and frustration. I feel depressed.
