Customer Service is nowhere to be...
My first experience at Teppermans about a month ago was pretty bad, I purchased a few items and paid about 30% of it down and financed the rest. The following week I then received a few calls telling me I had to come in and pay them a deposit before they could get our couch and loveseat ordered. Each time I called I explained that I DID put money down and told them exactly how much and it shows on the receipt from them also. However they continued to call me saying I did not make a deposit. Finally I said enough is enough, I went in and cancelled the order and got my money back.
This past weekend we decided to give them another try, I went in and spoke again to a great salesman to purchase a rug, I decided to put on finance as they had already approved me the first time I was in. When I got to the order desk I was told there was a $99 fee to finance but I could pay within 90 days without a finance fee so I choose that option. So the guy entered it all and printed...

So the guy entered it all and printed it off and then went on the phone, didn't tell me what he was doing, just went on the phone and sat there waiting for someone to pick up on the other end. I waited about five mins and finally asked him what he was doing. He said the system wasn't letting him do something so he had to call the office. He waited another few mins and then said to me, "they are busy today, do you want to pay for your order". I was speechless for a few seconds, what! because their office was busy I should pay instead of using the 90 day option because it would be more convenient for them? If I wanted to pay for it I would have said that at the beginning of the interaction!!
At that point my husband joined me at the desk, he had been trying to purchase a soundbar, three Tepperman employees had tried to figure out how to make it work, without success.
We just walked out of the store, we had wasted enough time as it was.
Honestly, I do not know how they actually manage to close any transactions, between lack of knowledge and incompetence.
