Disaster ordering from...
On September 13, 2013 I ordered a professional-quality Imperia R220 pasta maker (plus fettuccine cutter and dough mixer attachment) from Consiglio's Kitchenware website. It cost almost a thousand dollars. Almost two months later and I still don't have a functional pasta maker.
The fettuccine cutter was broken when it arrived. The dough mixer did not fit the model of pasta maker I was sent. I called Consiglio's. They told me that I had to deal with the importer (Aurora). I called Aurora. I made a video and took photos showing the problems. Aurora told me that I had to deal with Consiglio's.
I finally got a return authorization and sent the cutter and mixer back to Consiglio's. Nothing happened. I emailed. I emailed again. I phoned. It turns out that my return shipment had arrived but nobody had noticed or done anything about it.
They sent me a new cutter (by the slowest and cheapest shipping method available). They forgot...

I ordered this "top quality" equipment because I have a new small business and depend on my tools. This disaster has seriously impacted my sales: I've had to cancel shows and roll-back my participation in events because I haven't been able to make product. Starting a small business is a financial struggle - this situation had made it far worse.
I am deeply sorry that I ever ordered anything from Consiglio's. I'll update this review with the outcome when the matter is finally resolved.
