Good design, with soft rubber covering the metal clamps. Adjustable, which is helpful. Depending on the size of the nipple, you can open them up to accommodate larger nipples. Under the rubber, the metal clamp is actually in a horseshoe shape, which helps the clamp stay in place and not slip off. If you have really small nipples, I suppose you could use a pair of needle nose pliers and bend them in a bit, but be careful! They can hurt if you are not into, or not used to this sort of thing! Overall, a good product and does exactly what it should do!
