I love Cora's--I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's a breakfast restaurant and misses out on some of my favourite dishes. However, you cannot beat the various egg dishes, fruit sides, and the bottomless coffee cup is great. They accomodate the whole family, infants and all, and the service is excellent. My favourite is the western omelette, but don't go by me--there's plenty of choices. I haven't tried the desserts, but I gained four pounds just looking at them. Go there if you haven't already.

Sala Thai is what you think of when you think Thai food. The menu is fairly extensive, the choices are good, and the prices are a tad high, but reasonable enough. I like the service too, but you might think it's a little slow--slow is good when you're on a date--bad if you're in a hurry. But if you're in a hurry, you should be eating at a fast food place like Harveys. I recommend the spring rolls as an appetizer and the panang chicken (chicken is "gai" in Thai)with steamed rice as a main dish. If you're a salad person, try the Thai salad with peanut sauce--yum.

I had a great experience with a helpful Asian (Indian) sales consultant (can't remember her name). She knew the mattresses and furniture and was even helpful in some decorating ideas. I will definitely return to The Brick in the future.
