Does anybody truly care?
My wife and I purchased a special order Southern Motion Sofa and Love Seat in January. Our sales person, Mike Noble was fantastic. The furniture arrived in 6 wks as suggested. During delivery of the furniture into our basement the delivery guys damaged one of our walls. thy did come back and repair it but it was hastily done so I ended up repairing and painting myself. That evening, we noticed that the love seat did not have a centre console as we had ordered. We informed Mike who admitted the wrong one was ordered. An order was placed for another.
6 weeks later the replacement showed up. Once in our house, the packaging was removed and we discovered a tear in the fabric. Rather than take it down the stairs, the delivery guys put it back on the truck to return. On the way out, they damaged the jamb of the front door of our home. Mike apologized and ordered us another one. Keep in mind we had paid for the love seat 6 weeks prior.
6 weeks later, the replacement for the replacement shows up. Without taking it in the house we removed the packaging and alas, it's damaged again. Back it goes.
I know stuff happens but this is ridiculous! At no time during this process have we been offered any kind of compensation from Teppermans due to the damage to our home or the general frustration of this ordeal. I did discuss this situation with the manager in London on June 28th. He promised to look into it and call me back the same day. It's now July 4th and I still haven't heard from him despite two calls to his voice mail. What's up Teppermans? Nobody cares other than Mike. Try by reading your own Mission statement. I await your reply.
