Horrible experience!!
Our first visit to Best for Brides Etobicoke went well so we decided to order from there. Our second visit started out well but unprofessional comments about the girls’ measurements were made by the Sales Associate during measuring. 5 of the 6 dresses arrived together, 1 of the 5 damaged. The Sales Associate sent this dress in for dry cleaning but it came back in worse condition. She then said the issue was out of her hands, so I tried reaching the Store Manager, Donna, but she was off sick. I was finally able to get in touch with the Owner, Olga, who was a nightmare to deal with. She tried avoiding the situation of fixing the dress and tried making it seem like the problem was mine and not hers to fix. She finally got in touch with Mori Lee and together they got the dresses cleaned again. Yes, I say dresses…turns out the 6th dress that “hadn’t arrived yet” was there the whole time but was damaged. No one communicated this to us – ever. We were just told it was sent for cleaning "just in case". When the dresses were ready for pick up, Olga called my bridesmaid and told her they were ready for pick up and in good condition. I went with her and both dresses were still damaged. I called Olga from the store and told her the dresses were still damaged. I asked her why we would be told they were in good condition when they in fact were not. I asked her if she had looked at them before calling us and she said no, that she wasn’t the one who picked them up. I asked her what her resolution was and she told me nothing as there wasn’t anything more she could do. She offered me $30 off each dress which to me was unacceptable, I requested 50% off each of the damaged dresses and the girls had no choice but to wear them damaged on the wedding day. The lack of professionalism at this Company is ridiculous. The Sales Associate who had been helping us through our first two appointments was in the store the last day we were there and never acknowledged us at all. The owner was unprofessional and should not be running a business if she can’t provide the customer service she praises her company about on her website. This place was horrible and I made it very clear to the owner, the manager and the staff, that we will never return and we will be sure to spread the word to others about our horrible experience.
