What a horrible experience...
I am beyond furious! I consider myself fairly lax when it comes to certain things -I am one to understand that mistakes happen. But they did a shit job. We have been asking my daughter since January what kinda cake she wanted. Not princesses... not characters like Dora... Nope... she wanted a school bus cake. The girl had spoken, so we decided to go with Irresistible Cakes in Woodbridge as I had got my wedding cake from them years ago. Since the order I placed 3 weeks ago, I had called on 3 occasions about the order and confirmed the pick-up location, as they had a location in Scarborough to pick up the cake. I called today to see if the cake was ready for pick up today. Of course they say yes. Then I get a call back to advise me that their delivery person missed the order and that they would need me to come to Woodbridge. After some back and forth, they agreed to drop it off at my residence. As upset as I was about the situation, I would have gotten over it, since it was a mistake...

However, I finally get the cake this evening and it was a hot mess. NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER! Did they make the cake last minute? Did they not care because it was for a four year old? Or did they do this out of spite for asking to have it delivered to me? I am thoroughly disappointed. Of course its not the end of the world, but as a paying customer, I expect my money's worth. This was far from it....
