I had recently moved with Alliance Van Lines and I promised to take a few minutes and report on the experience either way. I am very happy to report that the service was very good and what you would expect from a moving company. I have moved several times across the country and I have had my share of bad movers and goods coming damaged and delayed and good movers but at a very high price. I have to say that I did receive an initial general quote that was very low. I contacted my rep Michael who took the time and actually informed me that the quote may increase. I filled out an inventory form and got a revised quote. The final cost was exactly the quote plus taxes. We agreed to pay for 2 mattress covers and 1 wardrobe box – and that was the only thing that was extra. I was pleasantly surprised. We moved from Kenora, ON to Montreal and the goods were picked up on September 12 and delivered this past weekend on November 25. They even included storage for us. Great service from these folks, especially kudos to Michael.
