I built with Excel Homes LP in 2006. I gave them one star because the roof doesn't leak!! There are numerous issues with the home including structural issues not built to Alberta Building Code. (Thanks City Inspector for missing that)! I am currently $5000.00 out of pocket for repairs. Excel just lead me along until I wasn't able to go to Arbitration and then stopped returning my calls. So now I have taken them to court and they are fighting me ever step of the way. Thanks to a number of other people who have sued an won I have a very good chance to win!! Oh and Excel is a very poor quality builder, want a good builder go to JD Power and look at the Calgary Builder rankings and then pick a top 5 builder not number 18!!!
