DELL COMPUTERS

Absolutely the worst experience in my life with computer service. After six months of buying a Dell computer the hard drive failed, the Dell tech support found the hard drive to be defective and promised a replacement because I had six more months on the warranty. I got punted from Manila to Bangalore, from the Philippines to India, from "Advance team" to" Executive team", all BS promises and apologies.As of yet I still have not heard back from them, I have opened a case with the Consumer Protection Bureau and are going after them and the store I bought the computer from as they are not respecting their warranty. DO NOT BUY DELL COMPUTERS-ABSOLUTELY THE WORST AFTER SALES SERVICE EVER..!!!

I want to file the similar claim. Similar issues which you are facing in my computer as well. Can you share how did you do that via Consumer Protection Bureau?

Hi ROHITHARITASH, I emailed my city's Office of Consumer Protection, and received instructions and advice, also they emailed me the form to use in my official complaint with Dell and the store where I bought the computer-the form indicated that Dell and the store had 10 days to respond or face legal action. I was given a case file number that I subsequently used with all further emails with Dell. Also a copy of the form went back to the Office of Consumer Protection so that they could use all the information on my complaint with any queries from potential buyers of Dell computers. I recently got an email from Dell with a telephone number to call, the call went to Costa Rica, where I was in touch with a technician from Alien Ware..a company that Dell bought. Alien Ware is probably the best high end computer available in the market today, and the techs really know their stuff....long story short..I was told how to take out the Hard drive and reinstall the same hard drive back in to my computer-sort of rebooting the hard drive....it worked!!...The tech told me these computers have this problem and that if I did this there was no need to get a new one and lose all the memory and browsers/drivers/security systems that were on the hard drive....all this trouble and bad communication from Dell left me with a bad impression of Dell. I won't buy another Dell product...maybe Alien Ware..but it took legal action for them to act....horrible after sales service..thanks to the Alien Ware Tech who helped me..
