I dont how to describe this place... but its this tiny whole in the wall of a jewelry store in downtown vancouver, however, its the best jewelry place you SHOULD go to.

They showed us so many diamonds in the SPECIFICS i requested and didnt pressure us to buy the bigger/more expensive diamond. They even flew in the diamonds for us!

Nicole, the sales lady was amazing, knowledgeable and funny! she showed me the GIA, HRD Antwerp certificates and other reports and the loose diamonds in through the loupe and patiently answered all my questions. She went through everything/ every question/concerns and returned phone calls within 24 hrs.

So, if you're looking for any type of diamond (around 1.4 carats for less than $9999) for under $10,000 with a great service and lots of TLC; go to minichiellos in downtown vancouver.

note: if Michael Buble and a Vancouver NHL Canuck player goes there... they MUST be that good!

This store was everything, loose diamonds, diamond rings and great knowledgeable staff. Although they didnt have the loose diamond I wanted in the specifics I asked for; they were willing for fly/ order it in for me but with an extra cost (*minus 1/2 star*). HOWEVER I had a fantastic Sales person, Kevo. I was treated so well and Kevo had so much knowledge to tell you; I was suprised!
I felt like a very very valued customer and I was treated with TLC. The staff also presented me with many options; and I didnt have any pressure to buy right then and there. Very professional and you'll have a lot of options.

So if you're looking at Larger (1 carat and above) loose diamonds with good quality for a price under $7000; with a knowledgeable, respectful and funny service staff; go to Lugaros in metrotown.

Even though the selection wasnt as big as I wanted personally (their diamonds only went as big as 1.08 carats); I had an amazing sales lady named Neda. She treated me like a valued customer and answered all my questions without pressuring me to buy the ring. In addition she was very knowledgeable and when she couldnt find the answer to what I had asked, she went to ask a coworker and found the correct answer for me. She even showed me the diamond report and explained each and every part of what makes the diamond I was looking at special.
So if you're looking at very good quality diamonds for a price under $9000 with an amazing, respectful and humble service staff; go to mappins in metrotown.

note: i deducted 1/2 a star because they didnt have a larger diamond i wanted; but overall great!
