a bit annoying and stupid...
My family has been here before a number of times, the food and service has been decent each time that I wouldn't remember anything special. Maybe it was a bad day and time (sunday 1pm), but the service was slow enough that you would notice the gap between eating different dishes and the servers are stupid or something. Three out of our four dishes were delivered to different tables; not even the same one. We watched as one of the managers ran to a table across the room, brought it back into the serving area and a different server bringing it right to our table a couple seconds later. Luckily it wasn't dug into by the other table... but the congee was good.

I say if you know it will be a busy time- say Sunday at 9- then you should be well staffed enough to deal with it. A competent staff helps, too. I think you are justified in being annoyed.
the whole staff was having the hangover stupids!! yah .. definitely sounds like it heheh ... must have been a big company party the night before :-)
i sometimes like when the service is bad. it means i dont have to tip as much!!!

the tables are horrible for people with long legs 'cause the support of all the non-circular tables (incl. "car seats" - a dining area that has two "pews" facing each other with a table as the divider in the middle) are big wood blocks. banged my knee pretty bad once while trying to get into a "car seat"
For Chinese restaurants, service is usually isn't so good. But the low prices will keep you coming back.
