Beware of this institute
The National Academy of Osteopathy (NAO) is run by Dr. Shahin Pourgol who had been charged with 16 allegations by the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and was disciplined with penalty after Dr Pourgol signed the Agreed Statement of Facts. Among the serious allegations which Dr. Pourgol later admitted is perjury, falsifying his names and other documents to obtain auto insurance settlements. Please, please be very weary if you ever consider to enroll in NAO.
The affidavit can be read at:

There are also unsubstantiated Scam Allegations against Dr. Pourgol's NAO on the Internet.
I do not know Dr. Pourgol and I have no interest in this field. This information has come up to my attention when searching the Internet at my wife's request because she was interested in more info about enrolling in NAO.

Comments
If you read the statement of College of Chiropractors of Ontario, it shows that the main point is that the name "Shawn" was used instead of "Shahin". And as the registration was under the name Shahin, any documents signed as Shawn was considered false document and every work done was also considered wrong.
In any case what NAO teaches has nothing to do with any one staff or professor.
NAO is the single most important reason why osteopathy has expanded so much internationally. It is thanks to NAO that millions of patients in many parts of Africa, Asia, and Latin America have access to osteopathic treatment.
You cannot condemn a fine college such as NAO by actions of any of its staff or employees. By doing so you insult all the students who have graduated from this college. It is not fair to them.
Let's quote directly from the article.
