I feel such a sense of relief having found Alchemy Hair design and Spa and Christopher who now cuts my hair. It reminds me of old- fashioned service, polite and genuine. They bring it, without the rock-star attitude and ego, and you won't need to shout to be heard above the techno-tunes. I was beginning to feel desperate after a number of not so good experiences in some of Victoria's top salons and was considering a Vancouver salon as my next step. I found Alchemy Salon on line and explored their web site and blog and that's when I realized that this was one I had to try. When I arrived for my appointment I was happy to find a calm and comfortable atmosphere where I was welcomed and treated with kindness and warmth. Christopher (Mr. Gorgeous), very personable, very present, began by asking me how I felt about my hair and what would I like to see for a change. He determined a cut that made my thin hair look thick and beautiful and shaped it to compliment the structure of my face. No one was rushing me through, the music was ...
