Tards
Just wondering whos decision it was to place not one but TWO picnic tables in the parking lot outside the Macs store in Harriston. These tables seem to attract the lowest of the low in the town. They are adults who for different reasons either cannot find employment or choose not to. This gives them plenty of idle time to cluster on the picnic tables hooting and cursing at each other and generally being a bother to anyone within earshot of them. Tonight I came across several of them and when I left the store spent a few minutes observing them. All were smoking and I'm sure there is some law against that being that one of the tables is within a few feet of the entrance door. The most disturbing behavior was one of the bigger and older of the bunch who made it a point to check inside each vehicle that was parked and give the inside contents a good look.
I did not see him attempt to enter any of the vehicles but I'm sure he knew he was being watched as he had the awareness to look up and around. He was no doubt watching for the owners to re-appear. Another one of this unwashed bunch yelled and cursed loudly when someone known to him drove by and refused to pull into the parking lot.
There seems to be anywhere from 3 to 7 of these people hanging out on any given night and I'm sure the number changes with the weather. I've tried to raise my concerns with the store manager but the number given to me by one of the employees goes unanswered. I will stop elsewhere rather then watch and listen to these fools. I'm just wondering why MACs has allowed this to happen. It certainly isn't good for business.....not mine anyway.
