Absolute nightmare to deal with!...
The customer service from Delbert.R.Smith Insurance brokers is unacceptable. First off the receptionist at the office is quite the rude, snobby "smarty" we'll say. I have been dealing with insurance broker Chris Engbers and it was trying to pull teeth along with the patient running away! When I first got set up for insurance, he was unbelievable quick to give me a quote and send me off papers to sign. I have had many issues where I had to contact my broker, Chris Engbers, and he would completely forget to look into the issue and get back in contact with the client. I will not mention in detail what the conflict was. I called in a week after he told me he would look into my issue with the insurance company, and I asked him what the update was since I have not heard back from him in a week. His reply was "Oh your looking for that quote right?". I was absolutely speechless for 5 seconds. I had a issue completely irrelevant from a quote and could not believe his reply. Very bad communication with the brokerage and the actual insurance company. He would always brush it off as "The insurance company itself is the issue". Phone calls/voicemails would go unanswered and un-returned(is that not the point of voicemail, especially in an insurance agents office). Overall, 1)Receptionist is quite the gem 2)Lack of communication 3)Extensive periods of waiting for issue update/resolution 4)Extreme obliviousness/absent mindedness PLEASE KEEP IN MIND SO YOU CAN SAVE YOUR TIME AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HEADACHES!
