Poor craftsmanship … even worse...

Canada Upholstery did not repair our sofa as previously agreed and refused to even talk to me when I tried to complain about the quality of their work.
In fact, before hanging up on me, the man on the phone said: ‘Get somebody else to repair your sofa.’ I’ve made a mistake by paying them in full at the delivery, trusting the son of the owner that I can discuss and resolve any issues with his father the following day.

After the fact, I've done a search on them and found that many customers have had the same type of issues with them.
Their BBB rating is F, as they failed to reply to 3 complaints the Vancouver office received regarding this company.
Too bad I didn’t do my search before I hired them.

I also had EXACTLY the same experience and same thing happen to me! Where I made the same mistake and paid them first trusting that they would fix it as promised by the owners son. Denise and his son Goran promised to come back and fix the terrible job they did on my chair. It was such poor work, DO NOT hire them! Every time I called they would come up with another excuse, "We will take care of it on the weekend", "I will talk to my son and call you back", "call me tomorrow morning at 10 am" etc etc, I continued chasing them and calling them back on times requested and still nothing! one lie after a lie!
2 lessons learned -
lesson 1)READ REVIEWS before you hire. These guys are SO UNPROFESSIONAL and have hundreds of complaints all over the internet (just read all the negative reviews on this page)
lesson 2) DONT PAY IN FULL until you are completely satisfied with the product. Now I and many others are stuck with a very poor product. At least in my case it was a small price to pay for this lesson, whereas in many other cases it wasn't. Their clients spent a lot of money for a terrible product and service.
SAVE YOUR MONEY and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE, learn from our mistake and I hope you read this review as I wish I did!
