J & D Towing = Jerks and Douchebags
This is not just a bash post, it is the truth. Like many of the others, the driver showed up out of nowhere and claimed "the insurance will pay for this don't worry".
I have never been in an accident before so I had no reason not to believe this guy. So we go to the collision centre, it's closed. So he says "I'll take in tomorrow" okay. We go there the next day and he says he will take it to a mechanic for us, okay then fine. Oh wait "everything is closed so I have to bring it in tomorrow". Not until he took it to a body shop was I aware that I had incurred about $900 in charges, for bringing it to the collision centre and to the body shop, the best part is it was the mechanic who told me about the charge on the tow.
Otherwise the guy wouldn't have told me at all. Not once did the driver say "hey this this and this is costing you money", no he just let it keep piling up without telling me all these nonsense fees.
***If you read anything read this: these guys are shady, they don't even have a real lot. They operate by paying another company to park cars there for a fee, and just hold it there until you pay them. They don't have a person working there, they don't even have a real office. If you go there your car will be sitting in the open next to the highway, for anyone to come and screw around with. No fence, no closed off area, nothing, just a lot next to a building on the road.
There's no point going there because they won't be there, they want to avoid you to make more money off of "storage fees".
I've been around, I've seen some scumbags, but these guys take the cake.
DO NOT work with them, check other sites, they have horrid reviews all over.
