Avoid, at all costs.!
The staff is friendly. That is the reason for the 1/2 a star. However, my vehicle was brought in because it was showing signs of the recall issue. They replaced the recall issue, which took them 2 weeks to diagnose. Than the part was delivered, and they installed it. They "discovered" that the issue was not in fact the recall issue, and that they needed to replace the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module), at a sum of $1500+. This took another 2 weeks. They released the vehicle to me, and told me it was test driven. I get my vehicle, and it breaks down as I am trying to get home. Almost broke down on the 400, which jeopardized my life. I have my vehicle towed home, and called them the next day. They, had my vehicle picked up and brought back to their shop. They tell me, that it is a wiring issue. At this point, they finally put me in a "loaner". The "Investigate" the wiring issue, only to find, 2 weeks later, that it wasn't a wiring issue at all, that it was an alternator. When querried why wasnt the alternator checked first? I was not really provided an answer. At the end of the day, they are charging me 1100+ to replace a bloody alternator... a rebuilt alternator at that!!!! In total, they screwed me for $2600.00 and took them 2.5 months of being without my vehicle, and almost a life threatening situation on the highway. I spoke to Chrysler head office, and relayed the level of incompetency that has been displayed by this particular dealership, but to no avail. At the end of the day, I will only go back to a chrysler dealership if I have to. (Recalls) otherwise, I have been screwed too many times by this place. Seriously.... 1100 for a used alternator??? come on!!!
