Been a member for 10+ years. Confess for a while I transfered my allegiance to the one on Georgia Street but now that it no longer offers almost 24hr access, following the merge with Steve Nash, Im back to this one. It used to be a pokey little place but over the years whenever a neighboring business went under it expanded into the space so the weight room is impressive and has every thing a would be hard body needs. Its clean and the staff are friendly. They know Im not going to upgrade or buy any of their fitness classes or use one of their personal trainers so leave me to it. Years ago I did let one of their personal trainers work with me and I hurt my back and so did another friend who was actually paying him. So has with anything else, if thinking of using one of their trainers, find out where they trained and get some referrals from past and current happy customers. Heard complaints about the hard sell but back when I signed up I didnt need selling to so was not my experience.

Started my aquarium back when these guys were still on Davie Street, then the moved to Burrard and now theyre on Beatty. Keep following them cause they dont have any competition in the downtown core and they are fantastic as what they do. Taught me how to have thriving plants and thriving fish. Guests always comment on how beautiful my aquarium looks and much of the credit goes to these guys. On a few occasions brought plants that lead to a plague of snails but they also told me how to get rid of them. Love this place

Couldn't believe this establishment wasn't listed and felt honor bound to add and review. Friends had been telling me about this place for over a year but it takes a lot to get me out to the burbs. After all the whole point of living and working downtown is that everything is so close. I had resisted these types of establishments for years but ended up going along with a friend after a movie at Metrotown and a few beers and am now averaging a trip a month. My experience has been mixed from mind blowing fantastic to ...... could of had a V8! That being said one of my least favorite foxes is another buddies favorite and he wont see anyone else. So you pay your money and you take your chances. If not sure or seeing someone new start with a 1/2 hr session. If you typically race to the finish if you get my drift some foxes might allow another victory lap but its considered extra so stick to the 1/2 hrs. Fave foxes include Vivienne, Joelle, Tawny, and Talisa. Newer foxes Zoe and Ella are worth a visit.

This gas station is no more and is a soon to be construction site.
