Not worth it
I saw Dr. Brown for approximately six months and finally had to stop, instead I chose to leave with my dignity and sense of self-worth intact. i refused to continue to be mistreated by someone, whom I believe, is a misogynist and egomaniac. I found Dr. Brown to be disrespectful, curt, and condescending. There were numerous occasions where I witnessed his female patients exiting his office in tears. Patients whispered, while lined up outside of his office waiting for five minutes of his time, how horribly he treated them. His own staff made derogatory comments about Dr. Brown, and particularly, how poorly he treated his patients. At least three of his nurses confessed to me what a tyrant he was. My own experiences mirrored what I observed and heard while at his office.
I was not permitted to speak to him unless he asked me. He became angry when I attempted to hand him a piece of paper for which he was searching. He said to me, "When I want your help, I will ask for it!...

When irritated with his patients, it was well known that Jeffrey Brown would slam their medical files shut in the middle of their appointments, stand up, and walk them out to a nurse's office refusing to further deal with them. This Happened to me as well. His nurse apologized when she saw my shocked expression at being treated in such a manner. She said it was a common occurrence with the doctor and she was left to pick up the pieces from his tantrums. This was my last Appointment with Dr. Brown.
No weight-loss program is worth the slow erosion of one's self-esteem at the hands of an angry doctor. Dr. Brown's patients are already vulnerable; they are struggling to lose weight in a slim obsessed society; they are desperate to shed all of those unwanted pounds, so many of them tolerate being treated this way. Yes, he may help them lose some weight, but at what cost?

With all due respect I really found him very polite and professional. He is there to help you achieve your goal. It's not easy program but you gotta do it if you really want to lose weight.
