Frustrating; Very Unorganized
Aya Kitchens was the company that our builder partnered up with for our new home. During the walkthrough, the cabinet door in the kitchen was missing; therefore, it was promised to be fixed prior to our move in. This did not happen. Therefore, we scheduled it directly with Aya during the first week of move in. We waited on that day, taking time off work, and no one showed up. We called the Edmonton office and it was indicated that the contractors could not make it. We were surprised as no one had reached out to us. Had we not called, we would have been waiting there for the whole day.
Aya rescheduled for about 3 weeks afterwards. We again, took time off work to have them come in.They did not provide us a set time of their arrival so we had to wait at the house clueless. The contractors that approached our house were not considerate; they were forcefully trying to open our front door despite it was clearly locked. When they came in they noticed their parts were wrong as well as another door being incorrectly installed. As such, they un-installed that door and left without fixing the previously outstanding one. Again, this was very frustrating for us as we did not like having to wait for them the whole day.
We though third times the charm, but no, when they came back again they brought the wrong parts again. This time for two cabinet doors instead of one. As of now, this is still not resolved.
It is very frustrating working with this company. I do not understand how a company can operate being so unorganized. The office does not communicate to the contractors as they always seem to be very clueless when they arrive. They have been wasting our time and their own time.
