I give Baum Property 5 stars!
Prior to Baum Property Management, my neighborhoods homeowner association was primarily run by the homeowners who volunteered. I have been a member of our HOA since 2002 to now, taking a 2 year break around 2009/2010. During that time, the board voted to go a full service property manager, Baum Property Management. Mike Baum assigned Tina Straits to our neighborhood. All the burdens we were faced with as volunteers were lifted when Tina and Baum Properties started taking care of everything: from collecting HOA dues, mailing notices and scheduling meetings, doing neighborhood violation drive thru's, handling neighborhood questions and providing paid assessment letters for all the real estate transactions. Also, we have 3 large ponds and over 10 acres of green space with older trees. We needed to learn how to overcome the challenges that ponds create: algae, dredging, shore line erosion, eliminating non-native species plants/trees and geese. We also needed to come up with a landscaping plan to minimize the traditional grass/mowing scenario that can be so costly. With Tina working together with our board, we were able to brainstorm ideas, find workable solutions and stay within a reasonable budget. She also keeps us on track of our budget long term by reminding us when reserve studies are due. With her help and guidance, our neighborhood is looking great. We still remain in budget. And our long term maintenance plans have a budget line and are slowly building up the resources necessary to pay for those bigger item repairs. All in all, I give Baum Property 5 stars!
