Disgusting company
We have lived in our building at 106 Goodwood Park for over 30 years, never had a problem, people were nice, and there was maybe 5 times the superintendents ever had to come into our apartment.
We are good tenants, we always pay our rent, we never make requests, we always pay by cheque, and we are never late with the rent. We understand the owner has a right to make a return on his or her property, we don't mind rent increases. We are as fair as can be for tenants and we NEVER complain.
The last 5 years since MetCap was the property management company, this place has turned into hell. Human urine and excrement in the stairs and elevators, cockroaches roaming the hallways, and bedbugs galore.
Since MetCap came almost everyone has moved out. Rents have actually DECREASED (I wonder why). This place is now filled with drifters, ex-cons, and the worst society has to offer. Noise complaints ignored, police here every other day, Sherrif's notices for evictions commonplace, I could go on and on.
In a MetCap building there is no point getting to know the "Resident Managers" as they never stay more than 3 months. They also LOVE coming into your apartment without notice and they LOVE doing inspections every month. You truly have no privacy at all in a MetCap building. It is a SHAME I have to move out of here because of the deteriorating conditions.
I have NEVER hated a company as much as I hate MetCap and I truly wish nothing but the worst for them.
Do yourself the favour and DO NOT rent from them. I am not an "angry" tenant. If anyone in the end does rent from them in the end, you WILL regret it. Nobody, I mean NOBODY likes them.
