Say no to Airline Limousine
Had the misfortune to take one twice from Pearson. The first one drove like he was late for an appointment and once home, wouldn't help me carry my luggage to my apartment. Then to add insult to injury, he overcharged me as I found out on my next encounter with this company. The second driver could not speak English, other than streetnames (I think),yes and no, and some unintelligible reference to the weather. He spent 80% of the ride on the phone, I'm sure to get directions since he seemed clueless to where my address might be. The dispatcher was yelling the driver's number over the radio over some discrepency with his previous order but the driver seemed oblivious to it. When we finally arrived, he pulled out the rate map and pointed to the cost for my ride, which ironically is how I found out that I'd been overcharged previously. Again, no assistance with my bags even though I am 68 years old. A colleague of mine informed me that the company has recently changed ownership and has but a handful of white, english speaking drivers still employed with them. I will NOT be jumping in one of these cars at the airport again!! Next time the consierge asks me if I want a cab or a limo, I am going to tell him no Airline Limos please!!
