Be Very Cautious

Unfortunately we had the displeasure of having contracted this company to re-roof our home back at the end of 2014 (December). A week after the job was completed, by an unqualified crew of roofers, we had our new roof blow off in the wind. I didn't mention but we paid a premium for that roof to the tune of $9,000 (double what some other contractors charged in our area). We have lost portions of our 3 year old roof on 2 OTHER separate occasions since that time and "Professional Roofers" (should be called Unprofessional Roofers) are refusing to stand behind their workmanship, falling back on contract small print of a 2 year warranty. If you're looking for very unprofessional workmanship, inflated pricing, extremely poor customer service and you have an urge to deal with very rude people, Professional Roofers would be the people to hire. This has been a terrible, terrible experience from the word...

Good morning. Unfortunately if you're roof was damaged due to unforeseeable circumstances, such as extremely high winds, then it is not covered by our warranty. We assure you that our team is qualified as we have been in business for 20+ years and circumstances like this are unfortunate, but do happen. During the windstorm in May, over 20 million dollars worth of damage was done to roofs across the GTA. Please contact us if you have further questions.

Typical response for someone refusing to accept responsibility for substandard workmanship. Yes Roberto may have been operating the company for over 20 years however he was not the installer or even part of the installation crew. The installers are definately not 20 year employees, they're new (to differing degrees) and learning the business an different jobs. You might want to instruct and teach them about setting air pressures in pneumatic nailers to avoid "blow-through". Be a man Roberto and own up to your responsibilities! And have a great day!
