I wasn't talking with the owner for more than 15 seconds before I was told that the entire car needed to be repainted and the work would start at $5K.
I have very minor paint touch ups required on a small car (various rock chips, dents, scuffs). I have worked in the automotive industry in earlier years and the work required on my car is in the ball park of $700-1200 MAX.
Thought I would support local, guess not - Moving on!
