Remote starter installed and quit working 2 weeks after. Dan wont respond to my complaints or emails.

Believe me, this guy is officially a thief. when you take appointment he will literally say "If I can't do it, no one can".
when you go to your appointment, he will get you to sign an agreement that you're gonna pay (this is weird by itself, but also gives you a hint that he has a big doubt that he won't be fixing your car and still gonna charge you), then he will get your car in and the first thing he will do is to screw something at your car so it doesn't work. THAT IS EXACTLY what happened to me.
10 mins later he will come out and tell you. I CAN'T FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG, so basically he didn't fix it and neither tell you what is the problem and will get you pay and if you don't you can't have your back and if you argue him or call police for him he may give you your car but you will never know what he screwed with it.

My husband decided (being the nice guy he is) to get a remote starter installed in our daughter's car for Christmas so he did his homework and emailed these guys for an estimate. He stated that the car was "standard" as well as the rest of the necessary information. He got an email back stating the job could be done for $350. He got called out off town on the day the car was supposed to go to the shop so I took it in. The first thing I get told is the key fob is extra for $70. Okay, I thought this was odd but I could live with that. Then the next thing I heard is it is $100 extra because the car is a standard & they did not know this (keep in mind the email that told them so. I left the car with them but made it clear they were not to do anything until I contacted my husband. I text him to tell him his $350 job had turned into $520! Of course he said, "Certainly not as they had been told the car was a standard!" I told him I would pick up the car and ask for the owner who had sent the email to ask if he was going to stand by his quote. Back I go to this place and ask for the owner who had given this quote. I showed him the email he had sent and his response was, "Well, standard just means a standard car. If he had said manual transmission, I would have given him the $100 charge." With that I said, "Okay, I am taking the car if you would please bring it to the front." Then he prcoeeds to say, "You can phone around and maybe get it $40 cheaper but this is the going price." Well, why did you not state that in the first place? I took our vehicle and left disgusted that we were not told the truth upfront instead of adding all this extra on after we arrive! Not good customer service whatsover!
My husband and I received a remote car starter system as a gift from a family member, which was purchased from Quinn Security. The installation and operating instructions were extracted from the kit. When I called to request a copy of this material, they were extremely unhelpful and inappropriately rude. The female employee demanded money - asking me 'How much are you willing to pay for it?'. We are very unhappy and unimpressed with their lack of professional and customer relations.
Never had such great service from any other company.
These guys do the best work and are very reliable and honest.
There Installers have the most experience ( each at least 20
years experience) Can't find that anywhere in Calgary.
Go and check them out.
