BEVINCO is a service that provides the bar owner/operator the same type of controls for your liquor, beer and wine inventory as you have for controlling your cash. Regardless of your current inventory methods, Bevinco has helped many bars and restaurants increases sales revenue by 10%-15% while reducing costs by 5%. There are three fundamental principles of Bevinco. INDEPENDENCE – The Bevinco auditor is an independent person taking the inventory and doing the analysis. “Our employees changed their behavior immediately when they found out a professional company was tracking our liquor shortages.” Many companies have the same person order the product, stock the product, dispense the product, and sell the product. That would be like a bank allowing the tellers to report the daily deposits. Banks have checks and balances and so should every business. Bevinco provides the checks and balances by independently tracking purchases, usage, and sales for every ounce of product that moves through your store. ANALYSIS METHOD – Ounce to Ounce, Shot to Shot, Dollar to Dollar; that’s the Bevinco way. If a location pours 100 shots of Jack Daniels, than 100 shots of Jack Daniels should be rung into the register. Bevinco’s detail allows the owner/manager to have meaningful conversations with their staff. “We’re short 12% this period.”, “We’re missing 8 shots of Jack, 15 shots of Grey Goose, 18 shots of Jaeger”, or “Our losses total $800 in sales this week.” One of our key indicators is the Bevinco Rating, which shows how much of the product sold was accounted for by sales. Many of our clients run a 96% Bevinco rating meaning that 96% of the product used during the period was accounted for in sales. Our experienced auditors can provide the same level of detail for Liquor, Beer, Wine, Draft, and Red Bull. ACCURACY – The Bevinco auditor follows a detailed auditing system that weighs every open bottle/keg, and counts every full bottle on hand. The experienced auditor then compares the previous inventory to the current inventory following standard GAAP Accounting procedures for determining usage. Going one step further; Bevinco will pull the sales data from your Cash Register or POS system and compare the amount of product Used to the amount Sold in the register. Comparing Ounces Used to Ounces Sold is the only way losses can be determined and controlled.
