Take a look at estimates for international art auction lots and then at the prices realized. Hugely far apart in many, if not most, cases. Lots sell for far less than one is led to hope for, if they sell at all. They need someone with a better finger on the current (faint) pulse of the market, not someone who will give wildly optimistic estimates in the hope, one assumes, of securing a sale.
